Welcome to the RPS Associates of New England's Corporate Web Site.

RPS  Associates of New England is a full service air quality control company specializing in the design, construction and installation of high volume air movement, material removal and noise control systems.

RPS of New England began in March 1981, as a company that installed and maintained baghouses for the manufacturing industry. RPS still provides this vital maintenance services for our existing customers but the company has evolved into one-stop shopping for turn-key air filtration services for the manufacturing, mining and industrial facilities.

RPS of New England will perform the following:

·        initial design and engineering work.

·        fabrication and installation of the designed equipment including the ductwork, mechanical and electrical systems.

·        implement the designed equipment and provide definitive performance criteria that the equipment is guaranteed to perform within, for extended periods of time.

RPS will design the systems with operating expenses, energy management and maintenance costs as part of the original design criteria. The initial cost of a system is generally higher when these costs are factored in, (such as the use of  a variable frequency drive and automated dampers interlocked with manufacturing equipment), but the energy savings can allow for enormous savings. State or Federal energy grants can help pay a large portion of the associated project costs.

Having a maintenance background and having the experience of servicing thousands of makes and models of dust control devices, RPS has the unique experience of seeing what equipment is effective and what is not. RPS designs the systems to have extended filter life (5 to 10 years), and to make access to the equipment as simple as possible while maintaining the integrity of the system.

RPS became involved in noise control in 1985 when noise pollution and containment became an issue for our customers. The fans and blowers that had been installed by other providers were noisy and RPS needed to address the noise threat posed to our customers near and in residential areas. We now manufacture and install a variety of products related to noise and provide noise abatement as part of RPS original equipment design.

We are a growing company and continue to strive to increase our capabilities to meet our customer’s needs. RPS is very proud of our capabilities and continue to search for ways of providing quality and cost effective solutions for our customers. It is vitally important to RPS that every project be implemented on time and within budget and the customer knows at the beginning of the project what he will be delivered, when it will be delivered and what it will cost. This is evident in the amount of repeat customers that continue to rely on RPS. They include, (directly or as subcontractors), Pratt & Whitney, Merck, NorthEast Utilities, Bayer, Dow, Mintec, LaFarge, Schick, Bic, Bethlehem Steel, Noranda, Saint Gobain, as wells as a number of local machine shops. As you can see RPS has the capabilities to provide services to both large and small business for all their air and noise filtration requirements.

RPS will provide services on a national level and as an example have provided technicians to Florida and Colorado for emergency repair work. A crippling accident or fire in Missouri today and RPS could be there to get the equipment back on-line and running within 48 hours. RPS can say this because we have had such an experience.
